HighFivez.com Planned Outage

We are moving our site to different servers this weekend, August 11-12. The outage will begin on Saturday at 12am (EST). Hopefully, there will be a minimum downtime. This depends on the time it takes for the IP to propagate.

Feature Change

Originally, the “Popular Blogs” tab, by default, displayed all of the blogs which have been submitted.  The “All Time” list.  Now, we have changed it to display the “Recently Popular” blogs by default.  Just like the other tabs.  You can still view all of the submitted blogs by clicking on “All Time”.

$0 Marketing Budget

We are taking a grassroots approach to promoting our site. I am a fan of Jay Conrad Levinson’s Guerrilla Marketing Series of books. Of course, our budget isn’t exactly $0, but we want to get the biggest bang for our buck when spending funds on marketing. We are placing a heavy emphasis on Customer Service and R&D with the intention of generating a positive buzz amongst our community members that will spread throughout the Blogosphere. We truly want our members to drive the growth and development of HighFivez.com.

If you have any suggestions on ways that we can promote the site, feel free to post a comment or email us at marketing@highfivez.com.

As always, Take Care and Keep Blogging.
